Educating your child at home
Parents and guardians who homeschool their children are responsible for ensuring that they benefit from an educational experience equivalent to what is provided at school according to Law 144 (Home Schooling Regulation).
Parents and guardians who wish to homeschool their children must notify the Ministère de l'Éducation du Québec (MEQ) and their school board (EMSB). Please send a copy of your 2022-2023 Notice to Homeschool to the EMSB Homeschooling Office. The address can be found in the blue box.
