EMSB marked the first day of classes at Leonardo Da Vinci Academy
On Tuesday, September 1 the EMSB marked the first day of classes at Leonardo Da Vinci Academy in RDP.
Commissioners Pietro Mercuri, Susan Perrera, Sharon Nelson and Maria Corsi, Director General Nick Katalifos and senior administrators and some local political leadership -Liberal MNA Marc Tanguay, Liberal MP Eric St-Pierre and Montreal City Councillor Giovanni Rapana - were on hand.
Stated Principal Nadia Sammarco and Vice-Principal Joseph Carlucci: “At Leonardo da Vinci Academy, we realize the importance of keeping children happy and eager to come to school each and every day because this will ensure their success and perseverance in school, Our enriching educational program focuses on providing our students with bilingual instruction with additional emphasis on numeracy, technology and music. We strongly believe in the partnership between teachers, staff, parents and community. The famous quote, ‘It Takes a Village to Raise a Child,’ holds true. Only through the collaborative efforts of all partners, will our students truly succeed.”
