Online workshops to assist parents having difficulty communicating with their teens

Chabad Lifeline, an addiction care centre in Montreal offering confidential services, will be offering parents workshops online on Tuesdays during the month of June.

This group is for parents who feel they are having difficulty communicating with their teenage children and want to learn how to set boundaries and self-regulate. This is not a therapy group, but a skills building workshop.

The schedule is as follows: 

  • June 2nd: Self regulation
  • June 9th: Communicating with your child
  • June 16th: Setting boundaries
  • June 23rd: Open topic
  • June 30th: Open topic + Talking to child about seeing a counsellor

It will done online via Zoom Tuesdays from 4 pm to 5 pm. Registered participants will be sent a link. Those interested should email youthcounselor@chabadlifeline.com .
